OUR SECURITY PRACTICES

We are constantly aware of security issues that affect our business and industry. To protect our customers' personal and confidential information, our day-to-day security practices include the following:

   Our computer systems have redundant security protection. All loan data
      is stored on separate external storage devices that cannot be accessed
      from the internet, making invasion impossible.

   We do not store your loan information on any type of portable computer.
     Your confidential information never leaves our office during processing.

   Our company security policy prevents the disclosure of any verbal, written or
      electronically transmitted loan file data to any estate broker or their agent
      without your written direction specifying exactly what information is to be
      provided and to whom. It needs to be properly signed and dated by all of
      applicants of record and can be faxed to us at 360-376-5194. We cannot
      accept any format other than written.

Our broker is the only person with access to your loan information during
processing and no other person has the ability to access his computer files.

   We do not provide any third parties with any loan data during processing,
     or after your loan closes, without your permission. Closed loan files are
      stored in our office "on-site" and not exposed to unauthorized people.

   After your loan closes, you will be given complete access information, as
      provided by law, to your mortgage lender's loan servicing department
      so you can address any security questions with them directly.

Industry Standard Loan Processing Software

To promote loan processing efficiencies in both time and money, the mortgage industry today transmits loan data as well as fully processed loans through the internet to investors all over the U.S. In addition to web hosting security, the responsible mortgage lender must use loan processing software that integrates seamlessly with their web hosting service, as well as its own high level of security protocals. We employ the #1 mortgage loan processing software in the industry - Calyx Point. It is the industry standard for mortgage processing software and is used for loan data transmissions to both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Credit Reports

During the encrypted data transmission of your credit information, it is protected using the same security protocals as all of our loans. There is, however, a security issue that is beyond the control of any mortgage lender. No matter which lender you choose for your loan, they too will be subject to the problem discussed below.

The security issue pertains to the use of a TRIGGER LIST by the major credit reporting bureas such as Trans Union, Equifax and Experian. There are only a few major credit reporting bureas and all banks, mortgage companies and anyone else accessing your credit information must use them. When your personal information is SOLD without your knowledge or permission, you have no control over how it it is used, or even resold many times.
